Freda Sue McCandless, 79, of Pocahontas passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at St. Bernard's Five Rivers Medical Center.

She was born May 26, 1941 in Pocahontas to the late John Arvil and Edna Mae Tweedy McCandless. She was a homemaker and member of WestRidge Church of Christ.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Cleve (Wilma) McCandless and J.D. McCandless; and one sister, Ora Lee (Charles) Jones.

She is survived by one brother, Jerry McCandless of Pocahontas; one sister-in-law, Brenda McCandless of Pocahontas; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 10-11 AM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM with Jeff Hamm and Joshua Dement officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will include: Jimmy McCandless, Michael McCandless, Steve McCandless, Justin McCandless, Clem McCandless, and Darrell McLeod
