Maynard- Franklin Wayne White, 79, passed away August 13, 2017 at Five Rivers Medical Center.

Franklin was born January 9, 1938 in Snyder, AR to Mitchel and Etta Ruth McGinnis White. He served in the Army and was the first Vice President of the UAW Local 1887, in St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Steven, Perry and Mitchel White; sisters, Ocie Gibbs, Jean McCoy, Cora White, Ruth Blemmel; grandsons, Elliot and Owen White.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara White, of the home; son, J.W. White of Bono; step son, Mike Lowry of Kansas City, MO; 2 grandsons, Jared and William White of Bono; granddaughter, Kinsley of Paragould; step granddaughters, Barbara Lowry Meyers of Rogers, Amanda Lowry-Andreski of O'Fallon, MO; and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 5-7 pm at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 12 pm at the Maynard Methodist Church with Alma Hastings officiating. Burial in the Maynard Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Maynard Methodist Church or the Maynard Basketball teams.
