Frank Humes, 66, of Ravenden Springs passed away August 13, 2021, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Frank was born July 8, 1955, to the late Sydney Humes and Alta Gates Simington in Pocahontas. He served in the Army and worked on a tow boat from 1988 to 2014 when he retired. Frank was loved and he had the biggest heart. He was a kind soul and loved all. His family was his pride and joy. He was a man that loved the outdoors, music, fishing, working on cars and trucks, and bonfires. He was a one in a million man.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents.
Frank is survived by children Kristy Roewe of Washington, MO, Rebecca (Dwight) Harris of Stanton, MO, and Anna (Nick) Vierra of Sullivan, MO; grandchildren Lucas Roewe and Daniel Roewe of Washington, MO, Evelynn Harris of Staton, MO, Ayden Humes, Natalie and Brayden Vierra of Sullivan, MO; siblings Arlet "Angel" Humes of Ravenden Springs, James "Peewee" (Jennifer) Humes of Annieville, Carolyn Hearn of Lima, OH, William "Billy" (Tammy Wagner) of Pocahontas, Regina (Cliff) Briggs of Ravenden Springs, Betty "Diane" (Kevin) Montgomery of Ravenden Springs, Steven (Charlene) Truxler of Pocahontas, Joe (Tonya) Simington of Imboden, Amanda (Jason) Tyler of Colorado and Larry Hackworth of Ravenden Springs; many nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2021, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Mackie McReynolds officiating. Cremation will take place after the services.
