Obituary
Francis Gearald Parent, 80, of Pocahontas, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at St Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was born November 13, 1939 in Pocahontas to the late Earl and Marie Rose.
Francis had a great relationship with her number one, Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marie Rose; and Bill Rose.
Francis is survived by her children, Sylvia Parent, Teresa Shepherd, Eddie Parent, and Teddy Parent, all of Pocahontas; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings Rema Ray and Zelda Bennett, both also of Pocahontas.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 29, 2020, from 10 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. with the services at 12 P.M. at the Living Waters Worship Center with Scott Wedding officiating. Burial will follow at Thomas Cemetery.
To follow the directives of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, masks covering the mouth and nose are required for all persons in Arkansas for all indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to non-household members where social distancing cannot be assured. Those attending will also be asked to sign a contact registry and maintain a social distance.
