Jonesboro- Francis James Gregson Jr., 70, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1944 in Jonesboro to the late Francis J. Gregson Sr. and Dorothy Evelyn Arbaugh Gregson. He received his master's degree from Arkansas State University. He was a Psychological Examiner and a member of the First Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Christy and Matthew King of Springdale and Rachael and Tim Suiter of Vilonia; a brother, John Ed Gregson of Hughes; six grandchildren, Caleb King, Emma Katherine King, Clayton King, Gracie Suiter, Weston Suiter and Madison Suiter. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Dunn Gregson in 2005. A celebration of his life will be 10:00 am, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Tippit officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Friday, February 14, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Matthew King, Eddie Doman, Tim Suiter, Nate Magre, Pat O'leary and John Gregson Jr. and as honorary pallbearers, Adult 7 Sunday School Class. Lasting memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church Care Center or the Meals on Wheels.
