Frances Barbara Jansen Baltz

June 1, 1927- June 11, 2025

After a life well lived, Frances Barbara Jansen Baltz of Pocahontas passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, at the age of 98.

She was born in Pocahontas on June 1, 1927, to the late Martin and Josephine Ungerank Jansen.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas A. Baltz; sisters, Marie Conway, Catherine Conway, Elizabeth Carucci, Virginia Cenac, Jo Ann Pfeiffer and Patricia Dowdle; brothers Joseph, Martin Ed, Bill and Larry Jansen and granddaughter, Christie Munn.

Frances is survived by her 5 children Rusty (Phyllis) of Hot Springs, Doug (Robin) of Walnut Ridge, Barbara (Mike) Seagraves of Pocahontas, Danny (Sheila) of Pocahontas and Arlene (Tim) Welch of Arkadelphia; one brother, Paul (Bonnie) of Rockford, IL and one sister, Dotty Ward of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Clint Seagraves (Karli), Brin Presley (Jimmy), Ashley Roberts (Thomas), Kayley Baltz (Payton), Corey Baltz, Ryan Baltz, Dusty Welch and Chelsea Oliver (Zach) and great grandchildren, Noah, Isaac, Avery, Declan & Silas Seagraves, Keegan, Sienna & Eden Presley, Davis & Georgia Welch, Bo & Brooks Oliver and Alaira Hudson.

She was a faithful, lifelong member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She was an avid golfer until the age of 92. She also enjoyed playing cards and other games with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at McNabb's Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, with Father Stephen Elser officiating at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.

The Pallbearers will be Clint, Noah & Isaac Seagraves, Jimmy Presley and Corey & Ryan Baltz.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul School Charitable Trust, 1002 Convent Street, Pocahontas, AR 72455.

The family would like to thank the staff at Randolph County Nursing Home for their excellent care.
