Florence Nash Cox, 100, of Jonesboro, descendent of pioneer Jonesboro families, died Monday, January 14, 2008, at SkilCare Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Jonesboro on December 4, 1907, the daughter of William Gus and Mary Malone Nash. She was graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1926.
