Florence Anita Coulson, 87 of Pocahontas departed this life on August 30, 2021, at St. Bernards Five Rivers Medical Center.

Florence was born June 15, 1934, to the late Lawrence Newman and Lucille Elizabeth Variell Newman in Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bennie Coulson; son Steven Paul Coulson; two brothers Ivan Newman and John Newman Bush.

She is survived by daughters Diana R. Tweedy of Pocahontas and Janette (Rick Harris) Gillean of North Carolina; three grandchildren Ben Tweedy of Pocahontas, Joshua (Amber) Gillean of Holland, MI., and Caleb (Sonny) Gillean of Zeeland, MI; 2 great grandchildren Lorelai and Ozwin Gillean; brother Gerald Newman of Lampasas, TX.

Visitation will be held Sunday September 5th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 6, 2021 in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Homeplace Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Dan, Lee, Travis, Justin, Jonathan, and Ben Tweedy and Eric and Corey Hill.
