Obituary
Amory, Mississippi- Fern Beatrice Neely, 90, formerly of Leachville passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2016.
She was born August 14, 1926 in Leachville to the late Thornsberry Gilbert Milligan and Mary Elizabeth Hawkins Milligan. She was a homemaker and loved to play the piano every day. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, who would help anyone who needed it. The best friend anyone could ask for.
She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Sheila and Dariel Crafton of Amory; two grandchildren, Michael Paul Steele of Amory and Elisha Baggett (J.J.) of Hamilton, Mississippi; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy Hickerson and Shelby Baggett both of Hamilton.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude Neely in 1999; two infant children, Danny Claude and Sandra Kaye; three sisters and three brothers.
A celebration of her life will be 11:00 am Friday, December 2, 2016 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Gregg Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers are Snowden Hawkins, Gene Rogers, Larry Brown, Larry Hicks and Travis Galyean.
