POCAHONTAS-Fate J. Swann, 81, died Sunday. He is survived by his wife, Vada Swann, a son, Eddie Abernatha of Poplar Bluff, three daughters, Mary Frances Swann, Linda Lou DeShaw and Jo Ann Taylor all of Pocahontas, two brothers, Ray Swann and Buddy Swann both of Pocahontas, a sister, Faye Swann of Pocahontas, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2pm Wednesday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Don Strait and Loy Culver officiating. Burial will follow in Chesser Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
