Obituary

Jonesboro-Everett Lee Sutton, 90, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Everett was born July 21, 1923 in Evening Star, AR to the late Edward and Kate Swan Sutton. Everett is survived by his wife Lois Sutton of the home, son Gary (Pat) Sutton of Imperial, MO., daughters Dana Sutton and Tanya (Mike)Miller both of Jonesboro, grandchildren Gary (Amanda) Sutton of St. Charles, MO., Teri Sutton of Florida, great-grandson Garrett Sutton of St. Charles, MO., great-granddaughter Claire Maleigh of Florida He is preceded in death by his parents. Everett was a WW II medic, attached to the 1st Aux surgical group 1943, and served in the Battles of Normandy, Battle of the Bulge, Northern France, Rhineland Ardennes, Central Europe. He was a member of the O\u0027Kean Free Will Baptist Church. Everett was a devoted husband for 47 years to his sweetheart Lois. He was a beloved Daddy and gave his children great joy and fun in living. He was an avid Cardinal fan watching every game each season and cheering the team to many victories. He loved the Lord and served him for many years as an active church member and trustee. He leaves behind countless cousins, family and friends. Heavens choir gained a singer and a happy jubilee is beginning for our precious husband and dad. Visitation will be Monday, March 10, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Craig Miller and Aaron Winfrew officiating in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sutton Cemetery.
