Jonesboro- Everett Leroy Sales, 79, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. Bernard Medical Center. He was born on December 14, 1933 in Egypt to the late Walter and Alpha Sales. He was a retired farmer and had worked at the Glass Factory in Jonesboro. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by a brother, Walter Wesley Sales of Jonesboro; a sister, Tular Estelle Strong of Booneville; and several nieces and nephews He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Thomas Sales, Leonard Tilmon Sales and Charlie Ray Sales. A graveside service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Gainesville Cemetery near Paragould with Rev. Harold Russell officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Charles M. Greer, Chris Greer, Pete Keyes and Tim Osburn and as honorary pallbearers, Johnny Osburn, Roger Hood and Sammy Montgomery.
