Obituary
Evelyn Marie Poindexter, 72 of New Florence, MO passed away on September 20, 2021 at her home.
Evelyn was born December 3, 1948 to the late Paul and Moneva Reed Bartlett in Walnut Ridge Arkansas.
Evelyn married James Dale Poindexter on December 2, 1965.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Adam and husband James Dale Poindexter.
She is survived by sons Stoney Poindexter of New Orleans and Tony Poindexter of Pocahontas; daughter Kerri Griffith of Pocahontas; siblings Paula Lough of Holts Summit, Mo, Jack and Cynthia Bartlett of Jacksonville, NC, Danny and Mary Bartlett of New Florence, MO, Glenn and Melody Bartlett of New Florence, MO, Cherrie and Andy Brower of Holts Summit, MO, and David Bartlett of New Florence, MO; mother-in-law Lucille Poindexter; brother and sister-in-law Freeman Lou and Bill Williams; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial service will be held October 9, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Masonic Cemetery. All arrangements are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
