Mrs. Evelyn "Susie" Easley Brand, of Wynne, formerly of Harrisburg, departed this life Friday, February 6, 2015, at UAMS in Little Rock, at the age of 69. She was born January 18, 1946 in Tyronza, the daughter of the late Covie Easley and Gracie Mae Mathis Easley. She was a member of the Church of Christ and will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She loved animals and enjoyed gymnastics and was also an artist and a poet and was considered a genuine people person. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, C.B. Easley, Frank Howard Easley, Gene Hutchens Eddie Hutchens and Philip Easley, and her sisters, Christine Hutchens, Martha Bennett and Pat McKay. She is survived by three sons, Billie Mosley of Wynne, Scott Mosley of Harrisburg and James Mosley of Harrisburg, two daughters, Hope Mosley of Cherry Valley and Monica Farmer of Colt, five sisters, Nancy Lindsey of Colt, Donna Brecheen of Wynne, Sandra Wallace of Harrisburg, Judy Harper of Harrisburg and Angel Young of Tyronza, two brothers, J.D. Easley of Maumelle and John Easley of Kentucky, five grandchildren, T.J Betts of Harrisburg, Traci Betts of Wynne, Kara Lee of Marion, Hannah Lovrien of Cherry Valley and McKinley Mosley of Cherry Valley, and five great grandchildren, Dawson Betts of Harrisburg, Jake Allred of Wynne, Lilly Betts of Harrisburg, Jacie Allred of Wynne and Cadence Lovrien of Cherry Valley. A memorial celebration of life is set for 7:00 p.m. Thursday, in the chapel of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg with Brother Fred Strasser officiating. There will be no visitation.
