Obituary
Bono- Evelyn Castleberry, 91, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Ridgecrest Nursing and Rehab.
She was born September 24, 1928 in Jonesboro to the late Earl and Lela Sheffield Gray. Mrs. Evelyn graduated from Valley View High School and Beauty School. She loved cutting and doing hair. She also worked at Frolic Footwear Factory. She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Castleberry on December 24, 2018.
She was survived by a sister-in-law, Eva Lee Castleberry; many loving nieces, nephews, friends and church family.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Union Grove Cemetery near Bono under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
Lasting memorials may be sent to Walnut Street Baptist Church.
