Pocahontas - Evalena Bailey Horsman, 94, passed away February 4, 2009 at Five Rivers Medical Center. Born June 11, 1914 in Ravenden Springs to the late Fredrick and Rettie She is preceded in death by husband, Wayne Horsman, son, Freddie Horsman and daughter, Carma Ewaldz. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Elise Horsman of Chicago, IL, 3 grandchildren; Allen Horsman, Susie Horsman and Steven Ewaldz, and three great grandchildren. Sister-in-law, Mina Hopkins of Pocahontas. While living in Rockford, IL she worked at General Electric Company on the assembly line for 15 years. Worked at Burk's Clothing as a seamstress for 20 years. She lived in Outlook Point from the time it opened until 2008 then went to Randolph Home. She also was a long time member at the Pyburn Street Church of Christ. Graveside service will be held 10 Saturday at McIlroy Cemetery with Grant Killion officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 Friday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.
