EvaLea Segraves Barnes, age 93 went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2019.

She was born April 26, 1926 in Biggers, AR to Mont Issac and Myrtle Boling Segraves. She lived in Randolph County at 4371 Hwy 90 West in Pocahontas, AR.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Billy Todd Barnes; her parents, Mont and Myrtle Segraves; sisters, Vera Bundren, Nadine Luter, Juanita Cavenar; and her brother, Sonny Segraves and grandsons Matt Walls and Todd Presley.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Danny) Walls, Michele Presley (Charlie Raglin) both of Pocahontas, AR; grandchildren, Jeremy (Sarah) Presley of Pocahontas, AR, Angel (Brent) Reynolds of Trophy Club, TX, Megan Walls of Pocahontas, AR, and Brooke Rickey of Hot Springs, AR; great grandchildren, Mia and Braden Presley, Tate, Lexie and Beckett Reynolds, Avery Walls, Ben, Harper and Rylie Walls; nieces, Delphine Kennedy, Terri Fort, Genny Barr; and nephews, Don Bundren, Terrill Luter, Monte Segraves, and Johnny Segraves.

She married Billy Todd Barnes on December 2, 1944. They both worked and lived at the Hotel Randolph in Pocahontas, AR owned and operated by Billy's parents. They built their home in 1951 at 4371 Hwy 90 West in Pocahontas where they lived until their passing.

EvaLea moved to St. Louis, MO in the early 1940's and lived with her sister, Vera, and worked at Western Wire Company. She moved back to Pocahontas and worked for General Telephone with her sister, Juanita. After the second daughter, Michele, was born she was a stay at home Mom and later worked at Sears and Walmart. She enjoyed the Horse Show days watching the girls ride for years. She retired and spent her later years watching her grandchildren playing sports in school. She was a very proud mother, grandmother, great grandmother of all her children who called her Granny Barnes.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 19, 2019 in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12pm to 2pm with funeral services following at 2pm with Joshua Dement officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Presley, Brent Reynolds, Monte Segraves, Johnny Segraves, Kevin Brown, and Hunter Segraves. Honorary pallbearers will be Terrill Luter, Don Bundren, Rickey Fort, Howard Barr, and Jordan Segraves.
