Eunice Faye Wheeler went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2024.  Eunice was born on February 5, 1934, at O'Kean to the late Harry and Sylvia Russell Midgett.

On September 11, 1947, Eunice married the love of her life Wayland Wheeler. Eunice and Wayland were married for 55 years at the time of his passing in 2002.

Eunice loved to cook for her family and friends. She loved to go shopping and spend time with her daughters on their Saturdays out. She enjoyed going to all her great-grandkids school events. Eunice was the guide and leader of her family and was loved unconditionally by them.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayland Wheeler; baby son, Ronald Wheeler; brother Vernon (Bean) Midgett; nephew, Michael Midgett; and her son-in-law, Jerry Richardson.

Eunice is survived by her daughter and her husband, Larry and Pat Carter of Pocahontas,  daughter, Freda Richardson of Pocahontas,  grandchildren, Shannon and Rick Barr of Pocahontas, Shawn Carter of Pocahontas, Jeremey and Nicole Richardson of Eros, LA., Josh and Myra Richardson of Stewart, NE.; great grandchildren, Graydon Carter of Conway, Brooks Carter of Rolla, MO., Harrison Carter of Fayetteville, Allie Richardson of Eros, LA., and Parker Brazil of Eros, LA.; nieces, Terry and Michael Thompson of Paragould and Tracy and Mark Tidwell of Conway; sister-in-law, Betty Midgett of Conway and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.

A private family only burial will be held at a later time at Croft Cemetery in Stanford, Arkansas.

The family wishes to thank DaVita Dialysis, Legacy Hospice and The Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab staffs for their care and assistance during Eunice's care and final days.
