Obituary
Bono- Euless Dale Moody, 80, went home to be with the Lord May 18, 2020.
Dale was born November 29, 1939 in Sitka to the late Vernon and Ruby Moody. He and Rosemary Reynolds were married September 30, 1960 and had a wonderful marriage for fifty-nine and half years. Dale proudly served in the United States Army from 1963 until 1965. He was market manager for Hays Food Stores for ten years and retired from Dana Corporation after ten years. He was a member of the Bono Church of Christ. He enjoyed working on small engines, auctions and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary Moody of the home; a son, Ron Moody and two grandsons, Tyler Moody and Brady Moody; three sisters and two brothers.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
Services will be graveside at 11:30 am Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Philadelphia Cemetery with Richard Akins and Randall Moody officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
Visitation will be private due to the Covid -19 restrictions.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Food Pantry at Bono Church of Christ.
