Obituary

West Memphis- Ethel Mae Vancleve, 92, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

She was born October 6, 1924 in Lake City to the late Gus and Mattie Chancelor Eberdt. She was a homemaker and a very talented seamstress. Mrs. Vancleve had been an active member of St Paul Methodist Church in Jonesboro. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Her family was her life.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Benny Joe Vancleve Jr and Karen of Charleston, South Carolina and Reefie Marconi and Michael of Proctor; four grandchildren, Benny Joe Vancleve III of Little Rock, Misty Collins (Jon) and Benji Marconi (Gina) all of Proctor and Jill Denton (David) of West Memphis; eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Benny Joe Vancleve Sr. in 2002.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 11, 2016 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Hair officiating. Interment will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are David Denton, Benji Marconi, Ben Marconi, Jon Collins, Tucker Collins and Danny Burk.
