Cash- Ethel Erlene Gossage, 88, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.

Erlene was born October 23, 1933 in Marked Tree to the late Norman and Ona May Honeycutt Brannen. She was a homemaker and farmer and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was of the Church of Christ faith and active in the Cash community.

She is survived by her husband of seventy years, Devan "Bo" Gossage; a son-in-law, Charles Ellis of Cash; numerous nieces and nephews; a special niece, Linda George and special great-nephew, Bradley George.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Renee Ellis and three brothers, Estle Brannen, W. D. "Dub" Brannen and Earnest Brannen.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the funeral home.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Templeton officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery near Cash.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ronnie Jones, Morris Watkins, Bob Wortham, David Forrest, Glen Hamrick and Tommy Elkins and as honorary pallbearers are Terry Ellis, Jerry Cox, Jerome Boyd, James "Man" Priest and Tristan Rudd.
