Obituary
Ernest Lee Waymon, 82, of Pocahontas passed away May 15, 2019, at home, surrounded by loved ones.
Ernest was born August 13, 1936, at Pocahontas, AR, to Jim and Opal Winebaugh Waymon. He was a self-employed carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alta Waymon; his parents; and one sister, Glenda Lemons.
He is survived by three children, Greg (Diane) Waymon of Bartlett, TN, Karen (Bob) Glass of Imboden and Denise (Jack) Peyton of Dyess; one brother, Kenneth Waymon of Jonesboro; two sisters, Freda Koons and Geneva Waymon, both of Pocahontas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 17, 2019, from 5-7 P.M., in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 10 A.M., in the McNabb Funeral Home chapel, with Nelson Henderson officiating.
Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery at Pocahontas.
