Caraway- Emma Jean Reeves, 78, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born July 30, 1944 in Searcy to the late Arthur Lee and Jewel Elizabeth Branscum Mahan. She retired from American Greetings after fifty years and loved volunteering for her community. Emma attended New Hope Baptist Church –Black Oak.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, James "Bud" Reeves; her children, Jimmy Reeves and Deb Austin (Ricky) all of Caraway; two grandsons, Devon Austin (Natalie) and Ryan Austin; a great-grandson, Tate Reeves Austin and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Bertha Frazey, Velma "Susie" Kelley and Joyce Frazey and a brother, Jarrel ""Bubby" Mahan.

A celebration of her life will be 12:00 noon Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Gregg Funeral Home with Rev. Heath Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Levi Reed, Jake Raby, Mike Frazey, Jim Frazey, Joe Kelley and Matthew Kelley.
