Jonesboro- Emma Christine Coleman, 87, passed away at St. Benards Medical Center on January 1, 2011. She was born September 1, 1923 in Brookland to the late Willie and Hanna Johnston. Emma was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church. During WWII she supported the war effort by doing factory work in the manufacturing of artillery for the war.
