Pocahontas - Emanuel Wayne "Sonny" Segraves, 71, passed away September 02, 2010 at St. Benards Medical Center. He was born March 12, 1939 in Biggers, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mont and Myrtle Segraves, two sisters; Vera Bundren and Nadine Luter and a grandson, Michael Wayne Segraves. Mr. Segraves is survived by his wife, Minerva Segraves of the home. Two sons; Monte and his wife, Kim Segraves and Johnny and his wife, Shelly Segraves all of Pocahontas. Two sisters; Juanita Cavenar and Eva Lea Barnes both of Pocahontas. Four grandchildren; Jordan Segraves, Monica Segraves, Jessica Segraves and Hunter Segraves all of Pocahontas. Four step-children; James Young of Fort Scott, Kansas, Darrell Young of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Ronnie Young of Egypt, Arkansas and Glenda Critters of Pocahontas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 04, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Perry Vandergriff officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday night from 6-8:00 p.m.
