Pocahontas: Elvis Kenoth Vandergriff, 70, passed away Wednesday June 30 at his home. He was born September 18, 1939 to the late Kenoth and Irene (Sparlin) Vandergriff. He is survived by his wife Neta Jean Vandergriff of the home, three daughters, Rebecca Mathews of Ravenden Springs, Judy Barnett of Pocahontas, and Paula Swift of Ravenden Springs. Three grandchildren, Holli Nitzsche of Ravenden Springs, Eric Swift of Ravenden Springs, and Zoie Barnett of Pocahontas. Three sisters Shirley Nichols of West Plains Mo., Wanda Smith of Ravenden Springs, and Helen Shafer of Pocahontas, one Brother Bill Vandergriff of Ravenden Springs. Funeral services will be Sunday July 4th at 2:00pm. In the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Carl Massey officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 Saturday at the funeral home.
