Pocahontas- Elsie Irene Hayes, 92, passed away on January 23, 2019 at Randolph Home.

Elsie was born on November 1, 1926 in Hamil, AR to the late Delno and Grace Billips Mars.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Wesley "Bill" Hayes; son, Ronald Hayes; brothers, Earl, Arrie and William Mars; sisters, Ester Sparlin, Mildred Redus, Dorthy Hausman; and great granddaughter, Shelly Dawn Rainwater.

She is survived by daughters, Peggy (David) Rainwater and Onetia (Bob) Olvey, both of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Tony (Kim) Rainwater of Pocahontas, Ader (Mark) Decker of Swifton, Alicia (Charles) Collett of Bald Knob, David D. Rainwater of Mt Pleasant, Robby (Michelle) Olvey of Pocahontas; Jermie (Marie) Hayes of Doniphan, MO; 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Vandergriff of Pocahontas, Mary Ella Hart of Colorado, Audrey McKuin of Maynard and Delta Hausman of Pocahontas; and sister-in-law, Ola Mars.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 9-10 am at McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following at 10 am with Phillip Rainwater officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery.
