Ellis Theodore Cassidy, 82 of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away at his home.

Ted was born January 15, 1939, to Thomas Cleo and Oma Pickett Cassidy in Pocahontas. Ted was a carpenter and owned his own business. Ted was a Christian and he served in the Navy.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents; brother Herbert Cassidy, brother Cleo Cassidy Jr., sister Laverne Johnson, sister Melba Self, sister Emaline Weisenbach, sister Ruby Roberts, brother James Cassidy and brother Clarence Cassidy.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Joyce Hart Cassidy; children Diana J. Pierce, Cathy Renee Cochran, Ellis L. Cassidy, Loretta S. White, Keith A. Cassidy, Clayton T. Cassidy; grandchildren Chad Belt, Miranda Jarrell, Bryan Harwell, Jason Harwell, Christal Baker, Angela Cassidy, Derick White, Mitchell White, Dustin Cassidy, Tabitha Schroeder; Nineteen great grandchildren; siblings Leo Foster Cassidy.

Visitation will be Tuesday September 7, 2021, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday September 7, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Goode officiating. Burial will follow service in the Jarrett Cemetery.
