POCAHONTAS-Ellen V. Schmidt, 87, died Friday at Randolph Home. She is survived by a son, Joe D. Schmidt of Lebanon, IN, two daughters, Mary Hancock of Knobel and Pam Schmutte of Indianapolis, IN, a sister, Charlene Collier of Maynard, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 Saturday evening at McNabb Funeral Home. Services will be held later in Anderson, IN with burial following in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
