Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth McArthur Gryner of Harrisburg departed this life Wednesday Night, September 6, 2017 at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, at the age of 85.
She was born April 22, 1932 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ted Goad and Ruth Sims Goad.
Elizabeth retired from Slant and Slant in Marked after 17 years and then retired from American Greetings in Harrisburg after 18 years. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved yard work and her flowers. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, where she was a former church secretary and sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Ruth Goad, two husbands, Ross McArthur and Bill Gryner, one son, DeWayne McArthur, one brother, Andrew Goad, one sister, Betty Kinsaul and twin sisters, Lois M Goad and Louise M. Goad.
She is survived by one son, Donnie McArthur (Cindy) of Harrisburg, two daughters, Deborah Mcdonald of Missouri and Dana Marshall (Eddie) of Harrisburg, one daughter-in-law, Diane McArthur of Conway, AR, three sisters, Ora Lee Delcamp (Richard) of Ann Arbor, MI, Yvonne McNeil (Mike) of Brighton, MI, and Joyce DelGiudice of Jackson, MI, six grandchildren, Bryan Marshall (Madonna) of Jonesboro, Michael Marshall of Harrisburg, Jerry Sue McArthur of Harrisburg, Lisa Renee Espinosa (Robert) of Conway, Chris McDonald (Christina) of Missouri and Miranda Amsden of Missouri, and eight great grandchildren, Dominic Marshall, Jackson Henry, McKenzie Espinosa, Parker Espinosa, Riley Espinosa, Grace Espinosa, Meadow McDonald, and Lilly Ann McDonald.
Graveside funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg. Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday, 1:00-2:00 p.m. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
