Jonesboro- Elizabeth Pauline Blalock, 81, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at her home.

She was born August 6, 1935 in Cherry Valley. Elizabeth was a homemaker who loved to take care of people. She enjoyed listening to music, crocheting and gardening. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Glen Blalock and Paula Wood (Richard) all of Jonesboro; her mother, Ida Wallace Clampit; six grandchildren- Stuart Blalock (Crystal), Laura Taylor (Jr.), Crystal Moody (Chris Nearn), Hali King (Joseph Garris), Kevin Wood and Kerry Wood; sixteen great-grandchildren, Christian Moody, Kaitlin Moody, David Moody, Madison Moody, Mackenzie Taylor, Makayla Taylor, Ethan Taylor, Lauren Taylor, Brookelynn Taylor, Bricen Taylor, Brody Taylor, Maci Blalock, Cameron Brown, Candice Cooper, Wesley Cooper, Tammy Wood, Dylan Clark, Payton Wood and Brodie Wood; two great-great-grandchildren, Evangeline Bryant and Jaxon Tyler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlie "Bo" Blalock; her father, Maburn Clampit; four brothers, James "Corkey" Clampit, Buddy Clampit, Morrilton Clampit and Harold Moseby and a sister, Aliene Wallace.

A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Monday, November 21, 2016 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sasha Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jerry Williams, Louis Jones, Joseph Garris, Jeff Baker, Justin Jameson and Diana Taylor and as honorary pallbearers, J.R. Taylor, Stuart Blalock and Chris Nearn.
