Obituary

Bono- Elinor Gertrude Hall, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at her home.

She was born January 2, 1940 in Bono to the late Ray and Anna Jones. She was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and traveling to see the country.

She was survived by her husband of thirty-seven years, Brooks Hall; step-daughter, Jeannie Cole; sons, Danny Elrod (Vicki) and David Elrod (Sylvia); brothers, Larry Jones, Randy Jones (Reta) and Fred Jones (Jeanetta) all of Jonesboro; sister, Linda Kopp (Michael) of Covington, TN; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Pat Johnston.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with her son, Rev. Danny Elrod officiating and eulogy by her brother, Fred Jones. Interment will follow at Powhatan Cemetery at Powhatan.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
