Monette - Eli Paul Baker, 90, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Flo and Phil Hospice House.

He was born October 21, 1929 in Monette to the late Claud and Nona Baker. Paul served his country for twenty-three years in three branches of the military, the United States Navy, United States Marines and the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Monette Church of Christ.

He was survived by his wife, Louise Baker and two step-sons, Ken Benton and Jeff Benton both of Atlanta, Georgia and numerous other family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Sue Baker; a brother, Doyle Baker and a step-son, Steve Roberts.

A memorial service will be1:00 pm Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Monette Church of Christ with Josh Parnell officiating. Interment will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery with military honors.

Arrangements were entrusted to Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Paragould Children's Home or Monette Church of Christ.
