Jonesboro- Eileen Jeanette Hoeppner, 100, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born November 26, 1921 in Ord, Nebraska to the late Emory and Minnie Zikmund Thomsen. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her many joys were bowling (a 191 on her 91 ^st birthday), golf, ASU basketball, St. Louis Cardinals, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bud Hoeppner; a sister, Virginia Kokes and a brother, Larry Thomsen.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandi Hoeppner and Judy Pope (Rex); sisters, Ruth Smith, Jeanne Ackles and Carolyn Hayek; a brother, Dale Thomsen (Pam); grandchildren, Shane Pope, Brandon Pope (Shelly) and Lisa Griffith (Kenneth); great-grandchildren, Ford Pope, Kaylee Pope, Braeden Pope, Cody Moore and Tori Moore and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
