Eileen King Chester, 96, of Elm Store, AR departed this life at her home on Thursday, March 29, 2018. She was born to the late John and Leona (Pinkston) King on September 26, 1921 at Dalton, AR.

Eileen was married to O. J. Chester on April 15, 1944 at her parents' home. They lived on a farm in the Dalton area all their lives, where they raised their two daughters. Eileen was a homemaker and a member of the Dalton Church of Christ. She loved reading, working word puzzles, quilting, cooking food, and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharyn (Roland) Reed of Gatewood, MO and Diane (Phillip) Huett of Elm Store, AR; two granddaughters, Sharla (Chris) Amick of Warm Springs, AR and Tara (Chris) Newman of Jonesboro, AR; four great-grandchildren, Gracie Amick, Charles Amick, Sydney Newman, and Sloane Newman; one step granddaughter, Laura (Jason) Shaddon of Gepp, AR; and two step great-grandchildren, Addison and Remington Shaddon.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, and one brother.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 31, 2018 in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Frank Plachy officiating. Burial will be in King Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 PM until time for the service.

Pallbearers include: Mackie McReynolds, Clifford Adams, Steve Moody, Chris Amick, Chris Newman, and Charles Amick.
