Jonesboro - Edythe M. Haag Carpenter, 89, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Skill Care Nursing Home. She was born February 27, 1923 in Lake City to the late Hugh Patterson and Lillie Mae Miller Haag. Edy and her first husband James Wright owned a Liberty supermarket in Holly Spring, Mississippi for twenty-one years. She moved back to Jonesboro in 1967.
