Obituary
Maynard- Edward Anthony Sparrow, 94, passed away on September 30, 2018 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas.
Edward was born on December 6, 1923 in Baltimore, Maryland to Andre and Sophia Sparrow. Edward served in the Army Air Corps and was a Pearl Harbor Survivor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lila Juanita Wimberly Sparrow; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
He is survived by children, Paula Sparrow of Cherry Hill, NJ, Drew (Julie) Sparrow of Maynard, James Barry (Charlene) Sparrow of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Steven Owens, Amanda Sparrow, Renee Brooker, Tony Sparrow, Meredith Sparrow, Colton Sparrow, Morgan Sparrow; and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the West Tennessee Veteran Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Arrangements under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
