Jonesboro- Edness L. Futrell, 101, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Craighead Co. Nursing Center. She was born March 10, 1909 in Jonesboro to the late E.D. "Doc" and Julia Willey. Mrs. Futrell worked for over 20 years at F. W. Woolworth's and then at Gibson's as a salesperson. She was a charter member of the Fisher St. Baptist Church and then the Highland Drive Baptist Church.
