Mrs. Edna Marie Lore of Harrisburg, departed this life on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 93.
She was born January 4, 1928 in Indiana, the daughter of the late Harvey Vosburgh and Gertrude West Vosburgh.
Edna was a 1946 graduate of the New Carlisle High School in New Carlisle, IN. She married James Lore in 1958 and they enjoyed 20 years together before his death in 1978. She owned and operated the Second Time Around Shop in Harrisburg for over 30 years. She loved flea markets, Auctions, yard sales and quilting. She was of the Assembly of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings. She is survived by 4 daughters, Wanda Jenkins of Harrisburg, AR, Judy Hooper of Grand Junction, MI, Marie Hornbarger of Water Vliet, MI and Marcia Brown of Harrisburg, AR, one son, Dennis Lore of Harrisburg, AR, two brothers, Carl Vosburgh and Jim Vosburgh, both of Dowgiac, MI, 14 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, August, 13, 2021, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, with Rev. Eddie Passmore officiating. Interment will follow in Bolivar Cemetery near Harrisburg. Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday, Noon till service time.
