Obituary

Pocahontas- Edgar Antone "Edd" Throesch, 87, passed away July 29, 2017, at Randolph Home.

Edd was born June 29, 1930, in Engelberg, AR to Henry and Josephine Hausman Throesch. He was a lifetime farmer, lifetime member of St. John's Catholic Church and a Korean war veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy and Bob Throesch and sister, Mary Lee Warner.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Grimes Throesch; children, Tom (Teresa) Throesch, Dale (Tonya) Throesch and Terry (Lynn) Throesch all of Pocahontas, Judy (Vince) Hooper of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Travis Throesch, Laura (Lee) Thielemier, Garrett Throesch, Megan (Brandon) Stapleton, Dylan Throesch all of Pocahontas, Sam (Ashley) Hooper of Oklahoma, Brookelyn Throesch, Christina (Adam) Ragsdell, Austin Throesch, Ethan Throesch, and April Throesch all of Pocahontas; and 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Joe Throesch of Pocahontas and Don Throesch of Jonesboro.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017, from 5-7 pm at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary beginning at 7 pm. A funeral Mass will be Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at St. John's Catholic Church at 11 am with Father Vallapaneni Mariadass officiating. Burial in St. John's Cemetery.

Grandsons will be honored to serve as pallbearers.
