Jonesboro- Earnest Ray Weitkamp 93 passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. Ray was born in Okean, AR on May 19, 1920 to the late William Peter Weitkamp and Myrtle Belle Clark Weitkamp. Ray was the former Randolph County Farm Bureau president and served on various boards. He also served in the Army during WWII. He is survived by son Earnest Ray "Richard" (Rosann) Weitkamp Jr of Paragould, AR., daughters Carolyn Sue (Ron) Bullock of Jonesboro, AR., and Anna Louise Walton of Orlando, FL. Grandchildren; Roger (Cheri) Weitkamp of Woodstock, GA., Robin (Kimberly) Weitkamp of Batavia, IL.,Amanda (Gary) Beckman of Conway, AR., Melanie Brown of North Little Rock, AR., great grandchildren, Jake and Jared Weitkamp of Woodstock, GA., Welsey and Dustin Stalnaker of Conway, AR., Austin , Angel, Dulce and Maria Weitkamp of Batavia, IL.,brother Darrell "Jack" Weitkampof Delaplaine, AR., sisters Eunice Holbrook of Holly Springs, MS., and Rosalee Crawford of Pocahontas, AR.also several nieces and nephews. He ispreceded in deathby Opal Lilian Weitkamp his wife of 50 years, daughter Sharon Kay Weitkamp, brothers Clarence, Henry and Gus Edward Weitkamp, sisters Mabel Cross, Lena Stone, and Agnes Clark. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
