Obituary
Jonesboro- Earnest Tivus Mungle, 77, passed Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.
He was born September 29, 1939 in Kennett, Missouri to the late T. M. "Buck" and Aline Masters Mungle. He retired from the United States Army after thirty-five years. He served as a medic and did two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing and his computer games. He loved his family and put up with the family pets.
He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Martha Jean Goad Mungle; three daughters, Ann Mungle, Cara Mungle and Erin Morphis; two brothers, Larry Mungle and Dennis Mungle; four sisters, Verna Horton, Linda Dobbs, Polly Mungle and Sherry Clements; two grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Carroll Mungle and Richard Mungle.
A celebration of his life will be 10:00 am Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Sutfin officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until time of service Thursday.
