Pocahontas- Earldean Shocklee Baltz, 69, was granted her angel wings November 20, 2014. Earldean was born December 22, 1944 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to the late Earl and Gladys Marie Roach Shocklee. Earldean graduated from Maynard High School in 1962. She then went to United Electronics where she graduated in 1970 as the only female in her class. She worked at General Electric in St. Louis until she returned to Pocahontas where she worked at McFall Chevrolet until she was married in 1975. She left the work force to start her family. She stayed home until 1988 when she went back to work at Baltz Auto Supply to help her husband with the family business. She was a beloved mother, wife, sister and friend that will be missed. Earldean is survived by her husband of 39 years Benjamin "Benny" Baltz of the home, children; Benjamin (Amanda) Baltz Jr., Holly (Michael) McKenzie, Jennifer (Jared) Daffron, Catherine Baltz, Debra Baltz. Grandchildren Cameron, Rylee and Tobey Daffron and Amelia McKenzie all of Pocahontas. Sister Sandra (Chester) Burgett of St. Louis, brothers Donald Shocklee of Warm Springs, and Johnny (Nancy) Shocklee of Bonne Terre, MO.. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Gladys Marie Shocklee and a brother James "Sonny" Shocklee. The family will receive friends Friday, November 21, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held the following day on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers: Brady Burgett, Chester Burgett, Donald Shocklee, Johnny Shocklee, Martin Baltz, Albert Baltz.
