Obituary
Benton- Doyle Mack Powers, 83, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Bryant.
He was born April 13, 1935 in Paragould to the late Calvin and Maggie Sims Powers. He was an active member of the Pine Knot Church of Christ. Doyle served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korea War.
He is survived by his sister, Ruth Sikes and husband Tom of Paragould; three sons, Nicholas Powers, Calvin Powers and Jay Powers; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Powers; four brothers, Gene Powers, Junior Powers, J. C. Powers and A. C. Powers and a sister, Janice Dodson.
A visitation will be from 10:00 until time of service Monday, January 14, 2019 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
A celebration of his life will be 11:00 am Monday in the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro. Interment will follow at Pine Knot Cemetery.
