Doyle Evans Athy, 90, of Pocahontas, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Doyle was born November 3, 1929 in Maynard to Horace Eugene and Lora Fern Evans Athy.

He was preceded in death by wives Mary Ann Athy and Vona Athy.

Doyle is survived by daughters, Karen Chrisman of Porter, TX and Melody DeJournette of Sedgwick, AR; grandchildren, Anna Phillips, Todd (Tracy) Chrisman, Kyle (Gaby) Chrisman, and Kim (Paul) Goains; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Krenn, and Abbygail Moore, and Ty , Bryce, Tobi, Kaitlyn, Garret Chrisman, and Elizabeth, Freddrick, and Daniel Goains.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2020, from 12:30-2:00 P.M. and service at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Joshua Dement officiating. Burial will follow at Maynard Cemetery.

To follow the directives of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, masks covering the mouth and nose are required for all persons in Arkansas for all indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to non-household members where social distancing cannot be assured. Those attending will also be asked to sign a contact registry and maintain a social distance.
