Obituary
Walnut Ridge- Dovie Mae Wilson, 82, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at Walnut Ridge Nursing Center.
She was born June 28, 1937 in Lepanto to the late Charles and Mae Stanford Carroll. Mrs. Dovie was a nurse and a homemaker who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed going to church.
She was survived by two sons, Allen Wilson (Tammy) of Sedgwick and Rayburn Wilson of Harrisburg; a brother, J.L. Carroll of Horseshoe Bend; grandchildren, Krystal Dunklee of Horseshoe Bend, Troy Wilson of Washington, Dustin Wicker and Jodi Wilson and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson; three brothers, J.C. Carroll, A.V. Carroll and Johnny Carroll and two sisters, Vera Waters and Rita Williams.
A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 22, 2020 at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bolivar Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
