Douglas Bence Brickey, 57, of Pocahontas passed away October 12, 2020 at his home.

He was born June 23, 1963 in Rockford, Illinois to the late James Alfred and Ruth lee Martin Brickey. He was a tree trimmer and a non-denominational Christian.

Douglas is survived by one daughter, Sarah E. Brickey of Rockford, IL; one son, Douglas J. Brickey of Rockford, IL; three grandchildren, Nathan R. Young-Anderson, Jase White-Anderson, and Addison White-Anderson all of Rockford, IL; two sisters, Patsy (William) Poston of Pocahontas and Diane Brickey of Pocahontas; one brother, James (Kathy) Brickey of St. Cloud, MN; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1 PM at the House of Mercy on Johnson Church Road with Paul Craig officiating. Cremation has been chosen for final disposition under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
