Jonesboro- Mrs. Dorothy Jane Montgomery, 82, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017.
She was born October 14, 1934 in Grove Spring, Missouri to the late Leo and Lillie Pearl Crist. She was a retired housekeeper for hospitals and nursing homes in Washington state for several years and loved working puzzles and reading. She was of the Church of Christ belief.
She is survived by one sister, Betty Lou Montgomery of Jonesboro; one brother, Jack Crist of Trumann and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orlis Montgomery, two brothers, Leo Neal Crist and George Edward Crist and three sisters, Rosa Katherine Blakley, Bertha Marie Eastup and Mary Ruth Elpy.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with her nephew, Kenneth Crist officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
