Delaplaine - Doris Jean (Rice) White, 81, passed away January 7, 2016 at Pocahontas Nursing and Rehab.

Doris was born July 12, 1935 in Delaplaine, AR to the late Harry and Nina Thomas Rice.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas A. Rice; grandson, Terry Murray; and great-grandson, Gauge Murray.

She is survived by husband, Rupert White; daughter, Lynn (Eli) Murray of Delaplaine; grandsons Christopher (Andrea) Murray, Michael (Amber) Murray all of Delaplaine; granddaughter-in-law, Stephanie Murray of Pocahontas; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Tripp, Wyatt, Bryson, Brooklyn, and Blakely.

She was a Retired Teacher of 30 years and a member of the Delaplaine Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the Children's Home of Paragould at 5515 Old Walcott Road Paragould, AR 72450 or a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 5-7 pm at McNabb Funeral Home with funeral service on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2 pm. with Robert Davis and Rick Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers include: Chris Murray, Michael Murray, Dale Murray, Jimmy Dale Rice, Donald Keeling, and Terry Varner.

Honorary Pallbearers include: Keith Mosbey, Mike Conway, Terry Gray, Tripp Murray, Wyatt Murray, Bryson Murray, and Olivia Murray.
