Mrs. Doris E. Davis Chester of Harrisburg, departed this life Wednesday morning, November 28, 2018, at her home, at the age of 87.
She was born November 16, 1931 in Waldenburg, Arkansas, the daughter of the late F. P. Henson and Nellie Irene Bennett Henson.
Doris was a retired employee of Case and Tenneco. She enjoyed gardening and was a Baptist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Wayne Chester, a son, Steven Chester, and a brother, C.F. Henson, Jr.
She is survived by four sons, F. P. "Butch" Davis of Harrisburg, Donny Davis of Abilene, TX, David Davis of Newark, AR and Mike Chester of New Jersey, three daughters, Judy Keanon of Fair Oaks, AR, Vicki Bornhoft of Little Rock, and Nancy Chester of Maple Shade, New Jersey, 18 grandchildren and many, many great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
